Nijmegen is a university city close to the German border.
There are three so called liftershaltes:
- at the Graafseweg (Venlo and 's-Hertogenbosch} (often used as a parking spot)
- at the verkeersplein near the Waalbrug {direction Arnhem} and
- at the Annastraat, close to the university.
