:: It would be good to have a second opinion from a Rotterdammer in this matter. If it's a roundabout where traffic goes relatively slow (even though it's officially a highway) it might be better to leave the information in the article. guaka 13:24, 8 July 2011 (CEST)
:::Actually I found this place via hitchwiki maps where somebody had already left their rating... sounds like they're from Rotterdam, let me quote: "I use this place always when I departure in the direction of Utrecht (and Germany). Done it already 10 times. The place has additional lane that is closed where cars can stop easily so it's a good spot!" Nothing about being illegal. The spot's on the on-ramp, and I'm not sure if there's a highway sign before it (definitely no no pedestrians sign), but usually I'm a bit paranoid, so I might be wrong here. The roundabout for sure isn't part of the highway system.--Zenit 13:31, 8 July 2011 (CEST)

::::Ah great, sounds like a good spot then. :) guaka 13:33, 8 July 2011 (CEST)

:::::It is me who wrote the quoted phrase before I registered. I used to live in Rotterdam 5 years and I used this spot a lot. Maybe it is after a sign, I don't even remember. But seriously... who cares whether it is legal? For sure not the Dutch police ;-) As long as you are not in a dangerous spot and not on the highway itself they are okay (because they are pragmatic like no one. Police passed me there several times and never reacted. Take care guys and good luck hitch hiking out of Roffa! :) rozwal 23:04, 20 November 2011 (CEST)
